As a teenager growing up in New Jersey, John became obsessed with creating his own lo-fidelity masterpieces with nothing more than a cheap guitar and an old boombox. It developed into a passion for any music that could be considered "outsider" or "lo-fi". This eventually led to nearly two decades in the music and audio fields, as well as experience in art and illustration.Today, he scours the internet looking for bizarre and wonderful sounds to share with listeners around the world on his Lo-Fi Meltdown show.
John is hands-on in every aspect of LFMD: host, producer, editor, artist relations, website/social media management, art director...all these talents and more make him a rare and valuable media commodity.
